Reviews for a 3 day trip from Marrakech to Fes :
An unforgettable adventure!
Together with my lovely wife, I had previously been to Morocco and found it to be a fascinating and enjoyable destination. Therefore, we returned, but this time with the intention of using a different travel agency in Morocco; we happened onto Touring in Morocco. It was a fantastic trip, far better than we had hoped. This trip and sightseeing service in Morocco is excellent, and I really suggest visiting the Merzouga desert.

Amazing three days!
Hamid, our driver and tour guide, was the highlight of my trip with my partner. Though the three days were too short, we had a great time anyway. The tour lived up to all expectations. I’d want to express my appreciation to our tour guide for her patience and thoughtfulness, as well as to the rest of the employees at the travel agency for arranging such enjoyable excursions.

Our three-day Marrakech-to-Fes-by-desert trip will let you to see many amazing sights. The first of them is the High Atlas Mountains, which are located in Morocco and are a component of the larger and more well-known Atlas Mountains. It occupies a smack-dab geographic center of Morocco, spanning a whopping 77,938 square kilometers. The Toubkal peak (4167 m) is the highest point in the Atlas Mountains, which are also considered to be the highest component of the range. In general, the High Atlas mountains are quite gorgeous, and any tourist would be wise to stop by and see them.
The Tizi Ntichka pass is the starting point for our journey into the High Atlas Mountains. It’s a lengthy, winding route, making it one of the most challenging in the country (about 200km). There are several Berber settlements and Argan oil cooperatives along this route. We visit a local cooperative that has been making Argan oil and cosmetics for generations. After that, we normally pull over at the pass’s highest point, which is at 2260 m.
Traveling from Marrakech to Fes takes three days, during which time you’ll stop at both the Anti and Middle Atlas Mountains.
The Medina of Ait Benhaddou
Morocco is well-known for its abundance of Kasbahs and walled towns. The finest and most well-known of them is Ait Benhaddou. When it comes to filming in Morocco, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is highly recommended. Ait Benhaddou has been a filming location of choice for a number of well-known filmmakers. using the films Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, and Lawrence of Arabia as examples.
This picturesque community, with its towering mud walls and mudbrick dwellings, is a fine example of traditional Moroccan clay architecture. Its primary use was as a stronghold, or defensive stronghold, to withstand any assault. Our three-day Marrakech to Fes via desert tour will allow you to experience this remarkable city.
Ouarzazate:
If you’re looking for a path into the Sahara desert from Morocco, go no further than the Ouallywood in the country’s southeast. Discover this fascinating city on foot with our three-day trip from Marrakech to Fes through the desert. When talking about Morocco and Africa, Ouarzazate is always mentioned as a top contender. It is the starting point for many tourists’ journeys around Morocco due to its convenient international airport.
The major attractions in this city are Atlas Studios and Taourirt Kasbah. Movies are made and equipment is rented out at Atlas Studios. Again, numerous programs, such as Game of Thrones and Prison Break, have been filmed in this city.
Saharan desert of Merzouga:
The southeast of the kingdom is home to the golden sand dunes of the Merzouga desert. Because it is home to Morocco’s tallest and largest sand dunes, it is the country’s most popular desert. But its length is around 30 kilometers.
The Merzouga desert in the Sahara is the centerpiece of every journey to Morocco. When you go to the desert, the weather will be quite different. Views of the golden sand dunes are so captivating that they deserve to be considered Morocco’s top tourist destination. Most of the time, we go there early in the evening so as not to miss the sun setting. We begin by riding the camel across the sand dunes. Erg Chebbi is considered to be among the tallest sand dunes in all of Morocco. We’ll stop as many times as necessary on the way there. In the event that we are delayed, we plan to stop along the road to enjoy the sunset.
When we go to the Berber camp, they’ll make you some tea. In the time that follows, you may explore the sand dunes at your own pace and catch the sun going down. When evening comes, you’ll sit down to a hearty supper prepared in the traditional fashion. After that, you’ll relax to the sounds of Berber music while the night sky unfolds above you.
The raging appetite of Todra:
The gorges of Todra, also known as Todgha, are really one-of-a-kind in all of Morocco. Todra’s 300-meter-high canyons have made it a popular destination for climbers and other adventurers. Our three-day excursion to this location includes time for hiking in the canyons upon arrival. Having a river cut through the canyons just adds to the natural beauty of this area. Observe the local Berber nomads and their flocks of goats and sheep if you have the opportunity. They bring their herd here to drink from the spring since it is a crucial supply of water. These vistas are very breathtaking. For those who like taking pictures, the Todra Canyons are a must-see.

Driving from Marrakech to Fes takes three days, during which you’ll pass through many beautiful valleys.
For rest and recreation, few sites can compare to the valleys. The three-day trip includes visits to many breathtaking valleys. In most regions, they are obviously the most important food sources. Moreover, others are very significant to the development of the Moroccan economy.
When compared to other valleys, Daraa’s length of almost 1,100 kilometers makes it the longest. About 225,000 people live in the many towns and cities beside this river. Ouarzazate and Agdz are two of the most important cities in the area because of their proximity to the river. It’s also a good location for growing olives and dates.
You shouldn’t skip Ziz Valley since it’s one of the best attractions. Located to the southeast, adjacent to the city of Erfoud, lies this later. Since this latter valley is Morocco’s primary supply of dates, it is undeniably the most significant. The city of Erfoud, Morocco, has an annual date festival that draws visitors from all over the world. Dates of various shapes, sizes, and origins are represented at this celebration. As the popularity of these events has grown in recent years, more and more individuals from all over the world have been traveling to participate and selling anything from traditional foods to exotic varieties of dates.
Dades and Ounila are only two of the numerous smaller valleys we want to see.
Specifically, the Ifrane and Cedar Woods area of Africa
We’ll spend three days traveling from Marrakech to Fes via the desert, stopping at Ifrane and its famous cedar forest along the way. The first is the area often referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco” due to its distinctive architectural style. There is not a cleaner city in the whole kingdom, and it ranks ninth in the entire globe for cleanliness. It is often situated in the Middle Atlas Mountains, not far from the cities of Meknes and Fes. A large number of tourists from within and outside of Morocco go to this city every winter for the skiing. Al Akhawayn University, a national powerhouse, is located here. It is also one of the primary locations where the Moroccan national soccer team trains.
The Atlas lion was formerly native to Morocco and served as the country’s symbol. Many species of animals formerly found in the wild are now restricted to zoos. A statue of the Atlas lion was erected in Ifrane. During the time when Morocco was colonized by France, many people believe that a German prisoner created this piece.
The cedar grove will definitely be a highlight of our travels. The Barbary apes live in a woodland close to the city of Azrou.
It was Erfoud and Rissani who
The three-day desert journey from Marrakech to Fes will take you through some of the most important towns in southeastern Morocco. In the first place, there is Erfoud, a city in the desert. Many fossil-making workshops may be found in this area. Trilobites, Ammonites, Goniatites, and a plethora of other fossils may all be found here. Moreover, every October, Erfoud celebrates the festival of dates, where visitors may sample dates from all over the globe.
And then there’s Rissani, one of the region’s oldest settlements. This city was important to Morocco’s development since it served as a hub for camel caravan trade. This city served as a hub during the once-famous 52-day journey from Tombouctou. To top it all off, one of the oldest and largest traditional Souks in the Southeast can be found in Rissani, where the majority of the population makes their regular grocery and household goods purchases.
